Life is Really Happening at LnT Infotech
After all the Hiccups at the native place and a long journey from Punjab to Karnataka, I finally reached LnT Infotech at Mysore!
How can I forget the Date 17th March 2010.
The building presents a mesmerizing view and it really feels to be proud to be part of such a good company..
We were a batch of 100 people, people from different backgrounds, different places speaking different languages, presenting different looks. But there was one thing common among us, each of us eager to get into LnT and have a mark of his own.
Right after verification of Documents, we received a very pleasant surprise.. a cute and tough pravesh after 2 days...
With that started the hustle among us, everybody sensed it as a chance to show his/her talent(which never is the case), and some people like me only thought of surviving the test and started to plan ahead for the test... and truly came out with flying colors by clearing it very comfortably...
Batsmen like me raise their bat at 60 runs(passing marks)...
We were divided into two batches, and most of my friends went in other group, but that presented me with an opportunity to mingle with new people.
It was our first session after Pravesh for HTML/JavaScript, and I was selected as Batch coordinator. I was amused and happy, didnt know How to react!
After that started the sequence of sessions of various technologies followed by horrifying tests.
Most of the people cleared them but some unfortunates could not.. but they did it later!
After all these hardships came another axe, we were further segregated, now came the time to allot the specialization. Our Batch was provided with the best of the technologies in LnT, no Java, no .net, no C++. They were BI/DW, IBM-Mainframe and SAP-BI. And few lucky ones, including me, got best of the best SAP-BI. But with that we had to move to Bangalore, IT capital of India.
We packed our luggage after our one month of our stay at Mysore and were ready to board the LnT Infotech bus and move to Bangalore. While on the bus,I could feel the flash back of my life at LnT Infotech so far. How an alone guy from Punjab got so many friends from different states whom he never knew before. I was receiving text messages on my mobile, people wishing me good luck for my future and I replied in same tone, there was one thing in everybody's mind.. Will we meet again? And probable answer was No!!
The atmosphere in the bus wasn't pleasant either. Most of us had been separated from best of their friends and were not in a mood to smile at all and some emotional fellows even shed few tears.
But that is how life goes on and this is how it is in LnT Infotech as well. After a five hour journey from LnT Infotech campus and cutting through high traffic of Bangalore, we finally reached our accommodation, a beautiful 3 star Hotel.
Next day, we were supposed to start our specialization so we got to Bangalore Unit of LnT Infotech right on time and started waiting for our trainer. It was around 10:00 AM and the wait was turning out to be long and it turned out to be even longer till someone from HR department came and told us that our trainer could not arrive.
After the first day of boredom and few sleeping sessions in the training room, the train for learning started moving with full throttle. There was no respite for us after that, we were hammered with sessions after session and very heavy ones. After one week of our training we saw another side of Life at LnT Infotech, we would be shifted to Mysore after we finish training at Banagalore for another training session in ABAP. Alas!! Another round of luggage packing!!
So today, May 16th 2010, we are back to Mysore again. We will be ready for tomorrow's session!! ABAP!!

Really inspiring it would be great if you can guide all your juniors who are in due course to join lnt fulfilling their dream to be an infoknight especially me as i am placed in lnt and have a keen intrest to pursue a career in SAP@Lnt HOw could be this possible how during my training i can get the sap training

I apologize for the late reply...
See at your training camp, you are not only supposed to show your technical skills but also the intellectual and analytical skills...
And sometimes it will depend upon your luck about what Field you get ahead.
Though scope of SAP is good in future but LnT infotech has storng hold in other fields as well..

I do not know u all,but one thing common with us,is that me too got selected in L and T CAMPUS PLACEMENT drive .Recently i heard about some parvesh test of L and T .i am curious to know more of it.plz do help.
Just Don't worry about Pravesh!!!
They will hold 2 sessions for C and DBMS.. just listen to the speaker carefully... You will get all the questions from there!!!

This is uday and I need a information from you. There was a recruitment drive in bangalore on august 27th and 28th and i got selected in that recruitment drive. I got a mail on september 2nd that i have got selected and i will be getting the offer letter within a week but still i have not received the offer letter. Any idea of when i will receive the offer letter. please reply.
You are definitely senior to me and i dont even know where you are or you still run this blog or not but please read this and reply, I had a great feeling as you described your very first experience on L&T Infotech, I dream about having the same day in future as you did. I am placed in L&T Infotech, the one and only offer i have as i got 54.8% in 12th and I have 2yrs of academic gap. I didnt hide these facts from HRs who came to our college for placement. The HR interviewer said that he would discus my case with the HR panel and decide and he asked me to wait for results. In the final list my name was on the 3rd place. I was on the seventh sky. But when i received the letter of Intent it had a point saying that Not More Than One Year Of Academic Gap Allowed. Sir i request you to please guide me about the following of this rule. Is this possible that i still stand a chance to see the day you described? I am depressed i love the profile and respect the repo of L&T Infotech and i am obsessed my maiden offer. I dont know you and have no idea that you are still in L&T or not but kindly help me as one of your junior brother. Thank you. Waiting for your reply.
HI Hans,
When the document verification process is going on on the second day of joining at that time talk to the person incharge. In some cases they havenot made an issue about the 2 year gap.
bro i wud lyk to know whether if a back log in diploma will create problem during joining...
sir .. how long would it take for a fresher to get the joining dates after the offer of intent ???
im about to join lnt on 15 oct 2013.which speclization is best and any dos and dont suggestion for fresher
